Jess started calisthenics with St Gerards Calisthenics Club (now Narre Warren Calisthenics Club) as a Sub Junior.
She loved calisthenics and displayed exceptional qualities which endeared her to her fellow teammates and coaches.
Jess was in her eighth year with the club, she was in Inters and assisting with the Subbies when she became ill. Shortly before her 16th birthday Jessica passed away, leaving both her family and calisthenics family devastated.
In a fitting tribute the 'JC' memorial award is awarded annually to an Inter who possesses the qualities that Jess herself upheld so dearly... team spirit, club spirit, poise and gracefulness. "Jessica you will always be remembered and will live on in our hearts forever"
